THE COMPANY

In 1963, Denny Church started his landscape contracting business by doing a “common thing uncommonly well.” He took a $5,000 loan out from a friend and paid it back within 9 months as the demand for this uncommonly well done landscapes seemed endless. As news of the “Church Value” spread, so too did his loyal clients and the dedicated employees that believed in his vision. .

Forty years later, Bruce Church (Denny’s son) launched a new company, Balanced Environments, Inc. Dedicated to build and improve on Denny’s philosophy and business experience, Bruce also saw an opportunity to provide clients with “one point of contact for all their exterior needs.” This vision sought to provide hard surface services in tandem with landscape maintenance services to streamline the process for real estate professionals needing these services. Hard Surface Solutions, Inc. provides 6 service lines all while maintaining the “Church Value” Denny created in 1963. By offering superior service, respecting clients and their needs, building pride in everything they did, and creating value well above and beyond the clients' expectations, Bruce and his team of professionals have built a hard surface company that now employs more than 75 hard working, talented, and motivated individuals ready to serve their clients' needs. .

Hard Surface Solutions, Inc. is one of the most well respected hard surface contractors in the Mid West with five locations serving an area that extends in three states, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. The company owns and operates hundreds of pieces of equipment, and provides concrete, asphalt, parking structures, CASA (coatings and specialty applications), sealcoating and snow removal services to an ever increasing spate of loyal and appreciative clientele. In tandem with its sister company, Balanced Environments, specializing in landscape maintenance services, Hard Surface Solutions, Inc. is able to provide a true "single point of contact" for all outdoor services a building manager or owner might need.
